The seaside in Tuscany

The Tuscan coast, about 300 km long, and the wonderful islands of the Arcipelago Toscano offer unique and varied landscapes: sandy or pebbly beaches, sheer cliffs dropping into the blue depths, large and shady pinewoods.
In the many entertaining tourist resorts you can spend amusing or relaxing, exciting or worldly holidays.
Tuscany’s bathing offer is so wide to satisfy every type of holiday need, even the most particular one. Besides views and wonderful landscapes, along the coastline, you can find areas with unpolluted nature where wordly life alternate with places where peacefulness and relax are the rule of the day.

The Versilia, with its nightclubs, pubs and shops and exclusive beaches, accommodate a tourism characterized by quality and worldly. Maremma and Argentario coastlines offer on the contrary, natural characteristics of rare beauty and charming environments, almost unreal that remind the charm of life in harmony with nature and the importance of the rediscovery of ancient traditions. The Costa degli Etruschi with its inlets and its blue seawater offer great possibilities for pleasure boating due to the well equipped tourist harbours.

Spending a holiday on the Tuscany's coastlines is a very pleasant experience thanks to the very clean beaches and seawater so that our region is among the firsts in Italy for pureness and respect of the environment.
Some of the most visited sea-towns like Forte dei Marmi, Castiglione della Pescaia, Castagneto Carducci, Castiglioncello receive every year international recognitions for the quality and the safety of their coastlines.
